Representatives of TV channels took part in the press tour
From November 26 to December 1, 2023, the KPP, together with the Ministries of Energy and Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Chinese National Nuclear Corporation CNNC, organized a press tour for Kazakhstani journalists in China.
The press tour was attended by representatives of the TV channels "Khabar 24", "Qazaqstan", "Jibek Joly", the newspaper "Egemen Qazaqstan", as well as information portals Baq.kz, El.kz and Nur.kz . The journalists met with top managers of CNNC and its subsidiaries, got acquainted with plans for the development of China's nuclear energy and visited 2 nuclear power plants - the operating Qingshan and the Zhangzhou under construction.
The purpose of the press tour was to familiarize with foreign experience in the development of nuclear energy.
For reference: CNNC is a large state-owned corporation operating in the field of nuclear energy (uranium mining and enrichment, nuclear fuel production, nuclear power generation, design and construction of nuclear power plants in China and abroad). The corporation and its 110 subsidiaries employ about 100,000 employees.
