Kazakhstan Discusses prospects for Applying International Experience in Nuclear Power Plants with Hungarian MVM Group

The General Director of Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants (KNPP) LLP, Yernat Berdigulov, held a working meeting with the management of the Hungarian energy group MVM to discuss modern cooling systems for nuclear power plants.

Cooling systems are a key component of nuclear power plants, directly affecting their safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

During the meeting, the Hungarian side presented dry, wet, and hybrid cooling solutions for energy facilities and expressed interest in participating in nuclear power plant construction projects in Kazakhstan.

Representatives of MVM Group highlighted their extensive experience working with reactor technologies used in the United States, Russia, and Asia, enabling the company to effectively adapt technical solutions to various reactor designs and climatic conditions.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further cooperation and agreed to continue dialogue on potential areas of collaboration, including a visit by MVM Group specialists to prospective nuclear power plant construction sites in Kazakhstan for practical experience exchange.
