Nursultan Nazarbayev announced a number of measures to support Kazakhstanis at the congress of the Nur Otan party in Astana. The congress considered the party’s program until 2030, the Society for Welfare: The 10 Goals of the Decade, developed on behalf of the head of state.
Help for state employees
N.A. Nazarbayev instructed to strengthen measures to improve the welfare of Kazakhstan families.
They will directly affect more than one million civil servants working in the field of health care, education, social protection, culture, sports, agriculture and others.
From July 1, 2019, Nazarbayev commissioned:
- raise wages for low-paid public sector employees to 30%;
- to raise on average by 25% to grass-roots workers of executive bodies who work directly with citizens at the district and regional levels.
For these purposes in 2019-2021 almost 980 billion tenge will be allocated additionally.
Help for families with many children and low income
In Kazakhstan today, about 340 thousand families have more than four children. More than 500 billion tenge is allocated annually to support families with children, the president said.
Currently, more than 111 thousand families (571.6 thousand people) receive targeted social assistance from the state.
Help for incomplete families
For incomplete large families, the president instructed to create conditions for working at home, and for large families in the countryside to allocate a separate quota of grants and microcredits.
The head of state told akims that regional programs of assistance to needy families should be revised, taking into account the “Bakutyty otasy” (“Happy Family”) party project.
Affordable housing
The President ordered to build more than 40,000 rental apartments in the framework of the Nurly Zher program, mainly for low-income families with many children.
Order of the party "Nur Otan"
The Nur Otan party should be actively involved in solving everyday issues of the population, N.A. Nazarbayev said. He instructed the organization with the Presidential Administration to create a center for assessing the effectiveness and monitoring the implementation of state programs and reforms.
Nur Otan: the name of the party was solemnly translated into Latin
“One should continue the purposeful work on the eradication of corruption,” Nazarbayev noted.
The focus should be on the youth, for which the future, the president concluded.
From my point of view our president suggested a lot of useful things at the congress of the «Nur Otan» party and it will help people in need . President also cares about youth. He announced this year the youth year. And the destiny of the Kazakhstan’s people is in our hands. We will try to justify trust of the head of our state.
