March 14 - "Korisu day-Amal holiday".
On March 14, Kazakhstanis traditionally celebrate Korisa kuni.
This is the time of receiving and visiting guests, close relatives, neighbors, elders of the family, etc. with the opportunity to express best wishes and all kinds of benefits. On this festive day, the event "Nauryz duman merekesi, salt – dasturdin berekesi" was organized at the Youth Palace.
The event was attended by Deputy Akim of Kostanay region R.Z. Mukhametkaliyev, head of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region K.B. Atamuratov, representatives of the intelligentsia of Kostanay region and employees of cultural organizations of Kostanay.
During the event, employees of cultural organizations demonstrated the ancient traditions of the Kazakh people.
Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore showed the ceremony "Tusau kesu", covered the dastarkhan and welcomed the guests with open arms.
